Social Security Disability
The successful pursuit of a social security disability claim requires extensive teamwork between the claimant, the attorney and the staff. Social Security requires that all of your medical and non-medical evidence be acquired in a diligent and complete manner. Acquisition and submission of relevant medical evidence demands effective teamwork between the client and the staff member. Aside from obtaining the evidence, it is our job to work together as attorney and client to create an effective strategy. This process starts with a discussion about your medical providers early in your case. If your case is eventually scheduled for a hearing, we will meet in-person (or over the telephone if you cannot physically come to one of my offices) at which time we will discuss the legal and factual issues relevant to your case and formulate a strategy for the hearing. Prior to your prehearing conference, we will have a personal understanding of your situation including your medical and non-medical evidence, and we should know which Administrative Law Judge will preside over your hearing. All of this will guide our team as we prepare for your hearing with you.
